HG rust stain remover safely and easily removes rust and oxidation stains from ceramic tiles, concrete, marble, roof tiles, metal and wood. The product contains no acids and is therefore absolutely safe for calciferous natural stone such as marble, hard stone and concrete stone.
Instructions for use
- Use HG rust stain remover on a dry surface.
- The best result is obtained when the ambient temperature is above 15°C
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Turn the nipple on the front a quarter turn
- Spray HG rust stain remover onto the oxidation or stains so that they are completely covered with the liquid
- Discolouration will occur, which in the case of iron rust will be purple
- In addition to discolouration, a 'rotten egg' smell will occur
- When used indoors, sufficient ventilation must be provided
- Dripping coloured liquid can stain underlying surfaces
- Avoid this by wiping off the excess liquid or protecting the underlying surface with, for example, plastic film
- If stains occur, rinse immediately with plenty of water until the discolouration is removed
- Allow HG rust stain remover to soak in for approximately 5 minutes
- The soaking time can be extended to 15 minutes, but avoid letting it dry out
- If necessary, spray more product onto the stain or oxidation in the meantime
- In case of heavy oxidation or rust stains, the product will immediately turn dark purple
- For stains in materials, it is advisable to immediately absorb this dark purple liquid with a tissue or cloth
- Absorbing the liquid immediately prevents it from soaking into the surface and possibly causing discolouration
- Repeat this until the product no longer immediately turns dark purple
- Allow the product to work in for 5 to 15 minutes
- After soaking, pick up the liquid with a tissue or cloth
- Especially old, stubborn oxidation or deep stains (in porous materials) may require repeated treatment
- After using HG rust stain remover, and before the treated surface dries, always rinse thoroughly with a generous amount of water until the discolouration has disappeared
- After use, turn the nipple back a quarter turn (OFF)
